Are you in the zone? What I call the “safety zone”?  The zone which everything is familiar, known to you and safe?  How does it make you feel?  I am certain it makes you feel good. But by staying in this zone, are you learning, growing, playing the bigger game in life; really going for your goals and dreams? Or are you limiting yourself because you’re afraid to take a chance, make a mistake, leave what’s familiar?

If you’ve got goals and dreams, I ask you to challenge yourself right now to stretch out of that comfort zone, even if it’s a small stretch! What have you got to lose? Don’t be afraid, you can do it.  So get a piece of paper and pen and write down the answers to the following questions.

  1. What is a goal of yours that you’ve wanted to do for a long time now?
  2. What small step can you do right now to move forward in getting started on that goal?
  3. What resources do you need to get you started or moving forward on the goal?

The time is now for you to go for your goals in life. I know how it is to feel safe. It’s a nice feeling.  But let me tell you something. When you accomplish a life goal of yours, you will be so proud of yourself for getting out there and going for it in life. Believe in yourself. Because I believe in you!
